In this short guide, we will explain the general functions of the POS365 Hospitality sales front.
1) The sales lines.
In this area of the sales front, the selected items will be shown, including the quantity, name, and price.
2) Top menu.
- Search bar: here, you can search for items. The search words can be the item names and SKU.
- Store Name and logged-in employee.
- Date and time.
- Online/offline status indicator.
3) Categories
The different product categories are displayed from top-down to select from. The selected product category displays the products within it in the Products section.
4) Products
Four products are displayed in prioritized order (The priority is set on the items in Admin Center).
5) Function buttons.
The function buttons include the top buttons displaying four items of your choice, shown by the priority set in the Admin Center, the two "layout buttons" for displaying item buttons, and the last six buttons for receipt functions.
6) Payment button.
By clicking this button, you indicate that you are ready to accept payment for the selected items in your active sales lines.
Note:
* You can also turn off "Hospitality mode" to switch to the retail view, which prioritizes the receipt view for users who primarily scan items.
